Paging

Select Edit Web Part from the PeopleZen Web Part menu and in the settings tool-pane, scroll down to the Paging section:

At its top, this section lets you specify the maximum number of user profiles to show per "page". The default value is 6 and this simply means that no more than 6 user accounts will ever be listed at once in the Web Part. If there are more profiles then "paging links" will be shown at the top, allowing end users to navigate forward or backward in the people listing. To disable paging, simply enter 0.

You can also customize how these paging links are displayed:

  • Show current position: — lets you set how to indicate which sub-set of the overall listing is currently shown:
    • (Person) x - y of z — on a listing of 10 people with 4 per page, the second page would show: 5 - 8 of 10
    • (Page) x of y — on a listing of 10 people with 4 per page, the second page would show: 2 of 3
    • (Page) ... | x | y | z | ... — on a listing of 10 people with 4 per page, the second page would show: 1 | 2 | 3
    • (No) — no positional information is displayed
  • Prev/Next links: — lets you customize whether and how users can navigate forward and backward inside the Web Part:
    • Text Links — textual links are used, with the labels Back and Next (customizable via the DIY User Interface Localization tool in PeopleZen Studio)
    • Arrow Icons — small graphical icons are provided for going back (left arrow) or forward (right arrow)
    • (None) — no paging links for step-based navigation are provided
  • First/Last links: — lets you customize whether and how users can skip pages to navigate directly to the very beginning or the end of the entire listing:
    • Text Links — textual links are used, with the labels First and Last (customizable via the DIY User Interface Localization tool in PeopleZen Studio)
    • Arrow Icons — small graphical icons are provided for going to the beginning (left arrow) or the end (right arrow)
    • (None) — no paging links for skip-based navigation are provided
