UploadZen: Feedback Forum > Sharepoint dood at the company I work for

First... Thanks for your work on the Multi Upload tool. I can't wait to get it working so I can get my boss off my back...

I unzipped and installed the package on our WFE server; I'm still not seeing the "Multiple File" option anywhere...

I looked at the Product Documentation and there a section at the end of "Solution Installation - Section #2" that states:

"If you are using Forms authentication in your SharePoint environment, configure IIS to allow anonymous (unauthenticated) access to any http://server/*/_layouts/roxority_UploadZen/app/* requests.) "

I don't see the ability in IIS 6 to specify specific URL when you enable Anonymous Access under the Directory Security / Auth and Access Control (Edit) menu...

We are using Sharepoint in an FBA configuration.

Can you please give me some advice so I can chack it out?

Hi Robert!

Open IIS Manager from Start Menu / Administrative Tools and in the navigational tree view under "Web Sites" locate the SharePoint site (such as "SharePoint - 80") and expand it. You should see the "_layouts" directory. Navigate down to "_layouts/roxority_UploadZen/app" and right-click that directory node to open a context menu and choose "Properties". Now you can set up "Directory Security" and configure anonymous access!

There is now a complete UploadZen Deployment Checklist covering and helping prevent this and other related deployment issues.
