ExportZen: Feedback Forum > CSV List Export within a Data View Web part

This is just the solution I need for a new time card I am developing for a client. The only issue is that we need the export command to show up in the Actions drop down in a Data View Web Part the same it does in a List View Web Part. Is there a way to enable this ability?

Thank you.

If your Data View is bound to List data (as is the case in 99% of use cases) then you can simply set a specific link, in your XSL or via an adjacent Web Part, that will point to the appropriate Export command --- we will provide documentation on how to do that for the upcoming release.

So just for the record and the sake of completeness, how to set a custom Export link manually is described here:
