PeopleZen: Feedback Forum > How to hide "There are no User Profiles to show in this view."

I've got my PeopleZen+FilterZen webparts setup correctly to show new hires. Unfortunately we don't have any right now so the PeopleZen webpart is showing the message "There are no User Profiles to show in this view."

I don't like the wording on this message and wish to change it, however I don't see anywhere in the web part settings where you can customize this message.

Is it possible to modify using CSS? Is it possible to just hide it if if can't be changed?

Hi JeffO,

we just uploaded PeopleZen build 1.6.0.1, which will not yet be available on our download pages for some 1-48 hours due to CDN cache delays but which you can freshly grab directly from: http://roxority.s3.amazonaws.com/roxority_PeopleZen.zip

With this build installed you now have two options:

To hide the message:
via CSS use a rule targeting span.rox-pz-zero which is exclusively used only for this message

To change the message:
use the DIY User Interface Localization tool in PeopleZen Studio (accessible via any Site Settings page), select English as the target language, on the PeopleZen Runtime tab scroll down to the ZeroProfiles fragment, click Add, write your new wording of that message and click Save Now

Best regards,
