PeopleZen: Feedback Forum > Groupings

Hi
The user profile is working great except for one issue. I grouped the users according to the department and it displays the users and I can view by department, but the problem is that it is only showing few tabs 9departments) i have about fifteen departments. Is there a way i can wrap the tabs so that it apears as a next row?

Thanks

Hi Binu,

we plan to have this fixed for the next hot-fix patch release that should be up over the weekend (will send you an email).

There’s a quick-fix for you if you're feeling adventurous and want to see what it would look like if wrapped, right now: you could manually edit the 12\template\layouts\roxority_peoplezen\roxority_peoplezen.css and simply remove (or comment-out) line 13, the one that reads white-space: nowrap; ... this will result in multiple rows of tabs rather than just hiding them. Of course, left and right scroller arrows would be preferable in the medium term but this just as a first workaround.

Hi Binu,

the newest build now available for download no longer clips excessive tabs but instead wraps them in a new row, just as you'd like them too. All you'll need to do after upgrading to this new version is clear your browser cache so that the changes get picked up accordingly.

Thanks, but the build on your site is still 1.4, iand I think it is the same version as the previous one

Hi Binu --- the internal version has been upped from 1.4.0.14 to 1.4.0.15 and with a cleared IE cache you should definitely see the changes after upgrading.

If not, let us know!
