FilterZen: Feedback Forum > Filter foldernames not clickable
It is simply a known side-effect of this feature. Won't fix. See the bottom (last 3 posts) of this thread for details. (Incidentally this thread is with Tom from your company :)
ROXORITY
Actually, this work-around seems to work on my Document Library I had in that thread. However, this issue arises when using a SharePoint List, in which no documents (but only list items) get added. The column getting the problems is named 'Client Name'. In the view options, we can either select 'Client Name (linked to item)' or 'Client Name (linked to item with edit menu)', or just the normal column named 'Client Name'. The field 'Client Name (for use in forms)' which should be the work-around to this issue, is not present in this List. Thus, obviously, we cannot use that column to make the folders clickable, leaving us with the issue of the unclickable columns.

Try either the normal column named Client Name (no link no menu) or Client Name (linked to item) -- both don't work? The normal (no link no menu) is the List equivalent to what in Document Libraries is called (for use in forms).
ROXORITY
Using the normal 'Client Name' column doesn't work, as it renders the column useless: you can't open any folder or file anymore, since they aren't linked. You can use the icon of the folder and the file in the first column ('Type'), but after applying any filter, the folder icons don't work anymore (the files, however, still do).

I guess this option isn't needed anymore. I've made a javascript functionality that opens the folders and files whenever you click anywhere in the row. Thanks anyway!

I'm using currently build 3.8.0.51 of filterzen (sharepoint 2007).
situation: created a simple list in which I have folders and subfolders and files.
when "...attempt to override the default display of folders:" is set to "Show files/items and sub-folders across all folders" the result is correct but I cannot open the folders (they are fixed, not clickable), the files are OK.
In the view the column Client Name is set to Client Name (linked to item)
Any idea on what is wrong?
