Hi Mario, that's true.
If every filter cascaded every other filter we would quickly run into infinite loops or too many CAML requests against the content database for a simple page rendering. Think about it: "only show the years that are valid for the currently selected day", but "only show the days valid for the currently selected year"?!... In the end, there are no pickable choices left and I have yet to hear about a use-case where left-to-right cascading would be intolerable and insufficient for the actual end users.
If you're sure you do have such a use case, tell us about it!

Breaking news: we just uploaded a hot-fix that finally supports cascading filters "in both directions"!

Hello,
It seems the "Cascading pre-filtering" opton only works from left to right.
So when I enter a value in the left multichoice box the right multichoices are filtered. But when I enter a value in the right multichoice the left multichoices are not filtered.
Is this true? Or am I missing something?
Is it possible to achieve?
Kind regards,
Mario
