ExportZen: Feedback Forum > Error when exporting
Hi Akuma,
most of the stuff in your log is not related to ExportZen or the error so it's not useful for us. Can you temporarily enable detailed error messages by editing your web.config:
- find the SafeMode tag and change its CallStack attribute to "true"
- find the customErrors tag and change its mode attribute to "Off"
- find the compilation tag and change its debug attribute to "true"
with these modifications in place, retry the export. Now instead of "unknown error" you will get a full error message. Can you email this to us ( info@roxority.com ) and we will help with troubleshooting or fixing this issue. Thanks!

thanks for this. We don't have this error on our end so we need to reproduce your setup as closely as possible. Can you send us screenshots or STP exports of your data list (remove confidential data as necessary) AND your export action where this error occurs?
Since you already sent us an email, we will reply the above to you via email and you can then send us back those necessary attachments to reproduce and fix the issue very shortly.
ROXORITY
When I try to export a List, I get always a SharePoint "Unknown Error". I post all the error log ommiting my personal data from the web urls.
